Modify/Delete Account

To modify an account, select “Modify Account” from the list of Federal Agency functions and complete the following steps:

Step 1 - Retrieve Accounts

Enter the Recipient ID , Group ID , Account ID , CFDA #, and/or DUNS # for the account that you wish to modify and click Continue.


Step 2 - Select Account

Select the account that you wish to modify from the list of accounts retrieved and click Continue.


Step 2 Continued- Select TAS Distribution Method

HELP FOR THIS STEP

If your agency is a GWA reporter, you are required to select a Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) Distribution Method.  If the account is Regular, Global or 1031, the method available is 'Percentage by Account.'  If the account is Control or Global Control, the method available is 'Percentage by Detail.'   


Step 3 - Edit Account Information

Modify one or more of the following required and optional attributes and click Submit .

Note that the TAS Distribution Method was selected on Step 2 Continued and is not available to be changed on this step.

  1. Optional attributes include the following:

  1. Enter or modify Account Details for a Control or Global Control Account .  If the TAS Distribution Method is 'Percentage by Detail,' the TAS/BETC information is defined at an Account Detail level.

  1. Define Treasury Account Symbol Values.  If the TAS Distribution Method is 'Percentage by Account,' the TAS/BETC information is defined here.

  2. Provide Recipient s for a Control or Global Control Account with Agency Review and Cumulative Draw Limit s, if applicable. 


Step 4 - Modify Account Confirmation

HELP FOR THIS STEP

On this step, you receive a confirmation of the modified account profile. From this page, you have the option to view Account Details, TAS/BETC information and Recipient information for a Global Account, if applicable, as well as to return to Step 1 to modify another account.
