FO Adds Banking Information

This is one of the next steps that follows the approval of officials by the Head of Organization or Re-delegated head of Organization. The Financial Official (FO) has received an email notification that a new organization is being enrolled and that he/she has been designated as the Financial Official. Action must be taken within 45 days.

On the Main Menu bar, The (FO) selects “Add Banking Data” from the Enrollment tab. To modify existing banking information, select “Modify Banking Data” from the Enrollment tab.

Select Recipient Organization

If visible, select the specific Recipient Organization for which officials will be added. This step appears when an Financial Official is responsible for multiple Recipient Organizations. If this option is not displayed, continue with the actions noted below.

Step 1 – Enter Banking Information

HELP FOR THIS STEP

1. Enter banking account information in the required fields:

• Enter the ABA/RTN number.

• Enter the Bank Account Number .

• Enter the Bank Account Title.

• Select the Bank Account Type .

Note: Choices for Bank Account Type are Checking and Savings.

• Select the Payment Method .

Note: Choices for Payment Method include ACH, Fedwire , and ACH/Fedwire.

• Enter the Financial Institution Official name and telephone number.

2. Enter an optional ABA Number for further credit.

Note: The option to designate a secondary bank account is available for Fedwire payments.

3. Click the ALC (s) for the Recipient Organization for which you are adding the banking information.

4. Click Continue.


Step 2 – Review Banking Information

1. Review banking information for accuracy and make changes, if necessary.

Note: A bank account can be deleted by clicking the corresponding X in the Remove Row column.

2. Click Add Another to designate additional bank accounts or click Submit .

Note: Organizations can have up to four (4) ACH and four (4) Fedwire accounts defined. An ACH/Fedwire account counts as two accounts.


Step 3 – Banking Information Confirmation

This step is the receipt of a confirmation that your transaction has been posted. There are no additional actions required on this step, however, the following are options available to you:

• Print a copy of the Confirmation

Note: You may print a copy of this page by clicking the Printer Friendly button that displays a .PDF version of this page (you must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer in order to view).

• Perform another transaction as the current user by selecting an action from the header.

• Logoff as the current user.

Note: If the payment method is ACH or ACH/Fedwire, the bank account will not become available for up to seven (7) business days. Additionally, the enrollment process is not complete until the Authorizing Official defines at least one payment requestor and defines the Recipient Organization information.
