POC Replaces Head of Organization

The Head of Organization can be updated during the enrollment process and also once the organization is active . These procedures describe the steps required to replace the Head of Organization.

Print Me

On the Main Menu bar, The Point of Contact (POC) selects “Replace Head of Organization” from the Enrollment tab.

Select Recipient Organization

If visible, select the specific Recipient Organization for which officials will be defined. This step appears when a Point of Contact is responsible for multiple Recipient Organizations. If this option is not displayed, continue with the actions noted below.

STEP 1 - Enter Head of Organization Information

HELP FOR THIS STEP

1. Enter official's information. Required fields are indicated by an asterisk and include the following:

• First Name - Individual's first name

• Last Name - Individual's last name

• Organization Name - this information is carried forward from when the new organization was initiated.

• Mailing Address 1 - first line of mailing address (usually the street address) which

• is carried forward from the initiation step.

2. Indicate whether the address is U.S. or international. The information is carried forward from the organization profile.

Note: Information carried forward can be updated.

3. Click on one or more of the roles for this individual.

4. Click Continue.

Note: If the official you are adding is already an ASAP.gov user, ASAP.gov will refresh the screen and give you the opportunity to select this user. If this is not the same individual, you will need to update the email address of the new user with correct information.


STEP 2 - Enter Point of Contact (POC) Information

HELP FOR THIS STEP

1. Review official for correct name and assigned role and make changes, if necessary.

Note:

• The Head of Organization's profile can be updated by clicking the 'Edit Details ' icon

• Additional roles can be added to the new Head of Organization

• No changes can be made to the Head of Organization who is being replaced. If additional roles are to be assigned to this individual, this can be done by clicking Modify/Delete Officials from the Enrollments drop down list.

2. Click Submit .


STEP 3 -

HELP FOR THIS STEP

This step is the receipt of a confirmation that your transaction has been posted. There are no additional actions required on this step, however, the following are options available to you:

• Print a copy of the Confirmation

Note: You may print a copy of this page by clicking the Printer Friendly button that displays a .PDF version of this page (you must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer in order to view).

• Perform another transaction as the current user by selecting an action from the header.

• Logoff as the current user.

Note: This change becomes effective immediately.
